A woman has admitted concealing the birth of two babies whose dead bodies were later found. She also pleaded guilty to preventing their lawful burials.

The bodies of two babies were discovered at an address in Wildmill, Bridgend, in November 2022. Egle Zilinskaite, 30, and Zilvinas Ledovskis, 49, each face two counts of concealing the birth of a child and two counts of preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body.

At a hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday, Zilinskaite pleaded guilty to all four charges in respect of both children. The children were referred to as "Baby A" and "Baby B" in court, with their deaths taking place between January 1, 2017, and November 26, 2022.
