Stacey Solomon and her husband Joe Swash posted an exchange to her Instagram account ahead of a scheduled interview on ITV's This Morning. The Loose Women presenter joked to her 5.9 million followers that her family was "holding her hostage" at a campsite as they were having too much fun to leave.

The mum-of-five pointed out to Joe that she had an appearance on This Morning on Monday, April 15, and that she couldn't just not turn up. Appearing on her Instagram Story, the 34-year-old rested her head on Joe's shoulder as she told her followers: "We are still in this blooming caravan."

"The kids won't let us go home," Joe then interjected, before Stacey added: "Neither will you."

Joe joked: "I'm keeping her hostage," as Stacey pointed out laughing: "I've got to go on This Morning in the morning, I've got work tomorrow."

"I reckon there's a 75% chance that we're not going to let her go to This Morning," Joe told the camera as Stacey argued: "I'm going, I've got to go, I can't just not turn up."

"No, we're staying here, we're caravan people now," Joe then pushed before Stacey pointed out that they couldn't stay forever. "I think we're going to have a good go at it," Joe said, adding: "Literally, our kids do not want to leave."

The pair then revealed they'd had an "amazing" time on their trips away, even finding a slow worm which the kids loved. Confirming she would be appearing on This Morning as planned, Stacey signed off by stating: "What have we become? I've got to leave you in the morning. They're all going to stay here and carry on their caravan best lives."

Stacey also captioned the video clip with a message that read: "Being held hostage in the campsite. They don't want to leave!

"We were supposed to go home this afternoon but the kids cried their eyes out. So we are staying one more night and I'm leaving them here while I go to This Morning tomorrow." You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
