Although the aim of The Apprentice is to win over Lord Sugar and get his investment, 2022 winner Harpreet Kaur also found love while on the show and is now engaged to fellow candidate Akshay Thakrar.

Taking to her Instagram Harpreet shared details of their "next chapter" as a couple as she admitted they "wish we got more quality time together". She said: "We do wish we got more 'quality time' together even though we work together from the same office almost daily - which sounds really strange to want more time. It feels like we have made huge decisions and steps (all amazing and positive) but I hope we slow down a little in the next chapter of 'us' to just enjoy ourselves."

Akshay commented a red love heart emoji on the post and Hapreet also opened up about dealing with the grief of losing her dad and how she wants to be more present when spending time with family and friends. Harpreet and Akshay are planning to marry in June 2024 and the couple will enjoy three separate days of ceremonies, including an English-style white wedding, followed by a traditional Indian ceremony and then a “big fat reception party”.
